The South-East Sports Hub will deliver an exceptional community asset for residents of the City of Greater Dandenong and wider south-east region
An estimated 350,000 people live within 10km of the proposed South East Sports Hub (SESH) site in the nearby suburbs of Keysborough, Dandenong, Noble Park, Mordialloc, Edithvale, Chelsea, Bonbeach and Frankston. It will serve the sporting needs of the Greater South East Melbourne region.
The SESH would be within close proximity to established schools, sporting clubs and community centres with easy access to EastLink and the Mornington Peninsula Freeway.
The development of the proposed Pillars Road site in Bangholme as a sporting and community hub will invigorate an underutilised area in a largely populated region to provide a much-needed community resource.
The inclusion of flexible, multi-use sports facilities will ensure 100% inclusion for all genders, ages and sporting interests.
